Bale Handlers

Bale handlers are a style of farming equipment accustomed to handle large round bales of the cereal crop. The bales are often engrossed in protective plastic, generally black in colour in the united kingdom, but it may differ. The thought behind having a customized bit of machinery to handle a wrapped bale is not merely to relocate it from place to another, but to do this while not harming the protective wrapping.
They can do this with a device with two protruding forks built in the bales longitudinal axis, and can be adjusted in width by having a double acting hydraulic cylinder to support how big is any particular bale. To defend the bale and it is protective plastic wrapping, the protruding forks can rotate freely to avoid any rubbing action that might tear the plastic.

In this manner the bale finds its own level inside forks which is lifted off the ground. Simply because it settles from the forks, the forks rotate as opposed to rubbing and chafing the plastic. Providing that the operator of the bale handler is skilled in his or her task, this may normally cause a bale being moved with virtually no damage whatsoever to either the bale or its protective plastic wrapping.
The protruding forks attach to a box section that's rigid in structure and give strength on the bale handlers. The mechanism, when attached with a tractor, could be lowered to walk out and also the two forks moved gently beneath the bale. This area section the forks attach to has a buffer plate to avoid problems for the end of the bale as bale handlers are moved forwards to collect the bale. The forks can then be adjusted for width as well as the bale might be lifted safely to get transported to wherever it must go.
